The Philippines gains two more nature reserves recognized for their global importance.

MANILA, Philippines — Two of the country’s nature reserves were added to the list of ”Wetlands of International Importance” under the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, an intergovernmental treaty on conservation adopted in 1971 in Ramsar, Iran, and came into force in 1975.
